Involving kids in the kitchen early helps them in the future. Recent studies have shown a myriad of benefits when kids are involved in cooking. They are more willing to try healthy foods and eat healthier as adults. Cooking and preparing a meal also bring a sense of accomplishment and raises the self-esteem of children involved. Children who cook also improve their math and science abilities.
